In a forgotten containment facility, deep underground, three strange creatures known as Rømer slumber in suspended animation. Connected via their alien biology, they can each see what the other sees, fear what the other fears, and dream their collective dream.

Decades into their internment, a sudden malfunction frees one of the Rømer from stasis. Now it must find and release its brethren, and find a way to the surface above.
