Callsign: HANGMAN
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
It has been five years since humanity's first encounter with the Remo, a vindictive race with a vampiric taste for blood. Of that first battle, only one remains to tell the tale; the mercenary HANGMAN, in whose veins now flows both human and Remo blood.
Research into these strange creatures is soon commissioned, and scientists aboard Spectare Station begin their work in earnest. But no sooner have the samples arrived than the station comes under a virulent attack by the Remo.
With no other options available, Hangman is enlisted to drive off the invaders, and rescue the besieged researchers...
How to Play
The aim of the game is to locate and evacuate each of the scientists aboard Spectare Station. You play as Hangman, a mercenary who is part human, part Remo.
Being a human-Remo hybrid brings with it certain complications. Hangman gradually loses blood, and will die after just a few minutes if he does not rejuvenate himself. The ideal way to do this is to harvest the blood of fallen Remo. But if you're in a pinch, you can harvest the blood of humans instead. You don't need to rescue all of the scientists, after all...
Hangman can gain the edge in battle by relieving a Remo of one of their arms and using it as his own. To do this, damage an enemy until it reaches critical health, then approach with your gun holstered and press Z to rip its arm off and use it as your own. Once you have done this, you can use your newly-acquired limb to unleash a brutal attack on your enemies.
